In our world nowadays, technology is
dramatically increasing, that leads to the rise of various technologies which
is commonly used at homes or in schools. These technologies had brought both
positive and negative effects within our community. Meanwhile, technology as
such computers are pervasive everywhere and anywhere we go. Many businesses, as
such computer shops spring up from computers and escalate problems in the
society. Today, these computer shops are used mostly on personal matters as
such playing video/online games, checking social media accounts or even
watching for violent themed videos and pornography which are salient among the
youth and are less likely used for educational purposes. In schools and in
homes, computer shops are considered somewhat a problem to teachers and parents
because it created several dilemmas towards the students or children’s progress
at schools or at home.
So the question is, “How can we help learners
or children best use computer resources as they may be available in schools or
at home?”
Considering the fact that learners at this
age are hard to be pleased, to gradually lessen their usage of the computers or
going to computer shops. Learners at this age are fond of using computers to
satisfy themselves and perceived it as intended for entertainment rather than
for academic purposes. Furthermore, as computer shops continue to spring up in
the business, much of the children, mostly in the first and middle class
families or those who can afford to pay the price are seen in this arena. But
now, regardless of your socio-economic status, computer shops are still in
high-demand to people of all ages but most noticeably on children. Personally,
I believe it’s quite a challenge to both teachers and parents. Since, we cannot
stop the continual production of computers as well as the attitude of children
towards computers.

to reprimand them, but we cannot easily bring to end the so called “addiction”
of children towards the use of computers. And so becoming a 21st
century teacher is a test. Moreover, a computer, when not used properly, it
becomes a disadvantage towards learning and development. However, if the
computer is used in a practical and effective way, then it will surely lead to
the improvement of the teaching and learning processes.
For both teachers and parents, it’s always a
good idea that both should build cooperation and collaboration for the purpose
of enhancing the child’s learning and develop skills in the school. At the
beginning of the school year, teachers should present and inform to the parents
the significant information that might take place in the school or in the
classroom as such the utilization of computers in teaching and learning.
Further, having a parent-teacher conferences are essential part to the system
of education.
As for

An example for this is when; the
teacher will guide the students in making a blog and in creating their own blog
in a form of a short story. The students can create short stories using their favourite
characters in movies, anime, online games etc. as a part of their short story.

the copies of their work developed in their classes. Since, students are fond
of using computers, then, instead of using the board to relay information the
teacher can outline the events that happened in schools or during the class
discussion through the class’s e-mails. P.S. students are required to create
and have their own e-mail.
